Check out SearchShots, a visual search engine. The results of your query are a series of screenshots. Very interesting.

You might also want to check out Teoma, which is a lot like Google. Maybe better. However, I love the Google toolbar and their Image Search. It will take a lot to get me to switch from Google -- I'm very loyal.

MapPlanet would be better if its maps included country, state and province boundaries. It's terribly time consuming to navigate without these common visual aids. The zoom bars are also not readily understood without first clicking them to determine what a big and small bar does - 50-50 chance of guessing its function correctly.
SearchShots is cool, but very cumbersome on a modem connection. My fast connection loaded the text quickly, but I timed-out waiting for the images to load. Plain text Google just works faster for everyone. (And does seeing a screen shot really help me accomplish my goals any better?)
Domain Surfer is my favorite for advanced searches on domain names fragments.
