Abuser Interface (Darwin) -- "These are exceptionally bright folks who, in their 70s, are still learning. Yet they've gotten stuck on seemingly straightforward tasks like learning to map the movement of a mouse in the horizontal plane to the movement of a cursor in the vertical plane. Then, once they get the cursor positioned over an icon, they first have to remember not to click on the icon's label. Then they have to remember to double click, and then they have to hope that they don't flick the cursor so far between clicks that the clicks don't count as doubles."
