Welcome Linux Fans (Talking Moose) -- "I've been using Windows XP on and off for more than a year. It's solid. Tell me again why I should switch to Linux? In all my beta testing I've had a total of three blue-screen crashes, all due to a bad driver in a card that I use. I use it 18 hours a day. Not too shabby. What, is Linux gonna be better in that regard?"

no one's gonna force you to change your OS. You want reduced privacy, a disabled OS anytime you upgrade or change 3 hardware components, go right ahead. Reliability isn't the issue anymore (Win2000 is just fine). Your provacy is. Go and give your life's details, shopping habits, and surfing details to MS, et al.
