Microsoft.Net--a new monopoly? (CNet) -- "It's unquestionable that .Net integration will simplify the Internet experience for millions of users. But at what cost? As a society, are we willing to cede control of the Internet to Microsoft for the sake of usability and convenience? Success is far from guaranteed, but Microsoft will do everything in its power to win." (Comments: Same old arguments except that the author decided to use the word "usability" which caught my eye.)
