Adapting the Tools of Drama to Interactive Storytelling (Gamasutra) -- "So what does effective mean in terms of interactive storytelling? There are two basic ingredients. (Comments: Good article. However, developing anything intuitive is tricky. In fact, intuitive is a very bad word to use. Are the same things that are intuitive to me, intuitive to you? What are metrics should be used to understand what is intuitive and what is not?)
