A dictionary!? This is a sign! Let us idolize our dictionaries!

Reporters were told the book that was undamaged was a dictionary.
The Bible reference was a story told to a person by another person reported in the USA Today. No actual first person account.

It appears that they have confirmed that it was actually reported in USA Today, rather than confirming that it actually happened. A lot of urban legends make their way into newspapers. It doesn't make them true. I'd look for additional confirmation before declaring "Truth!"

Matt, age-old question. You must understand that God works in mysterious ways. Like allowing free phone psychic readings to exist. Besides, saving over 5,000 lives from an imploding building would've been an abusive display of power.
'Course, this could've been Satan's doing. It could've been a master plan to jump-start a failing American economy. Hell, the Pentagon could've been built on a giant Pentagram drawn with the blood of many Natives. The saving-the-Bible trick was just to confuse us.

I find the story highly unlikely, to say the least. If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
I must also ask why, if there is a God, and He was watching the disasters on the 11th, why He would have chosen to save a bible and parts of a building, but not thousands of innocent people.

Certainly is interesting... I would've liked to know on which page the book was opened. Maybe Ezekiel 25:17 :)?
