Taliban Had Wrong Impression -- "Mohammad Yousof Asefi uses a sponge to remove watercolor masks he placed on oil paintings to cover up prohibited images of living things. Covering them with watercolors allowed the picture to pass Taliban censors and not be destroyed."

Them Taliban stay away from water, so uncovering paintings were not possible by the Taliban, let alone taking a bath.
