Steve Krug's Usability Workshop -- Do me a favor. If you are interested in usability and you want learn from the guy who wrote Don't Make Me Think, go to this workshop. If you sign up for the workshop, tell Steve that you learned about it through WebWord. You'll get the early bird registration rate even though the deadline has already passed! What I don't like about Steve Krug is his tagline, "Advanced Common Sense." As usability professionals we are always explaining that what makes sense to one person doesn't necessarily make sense to another. The tagline distacts from an otherwise good book. When I show the book to others, I have to launch into an explanation that usability is not about "common sense."
