Succinctness is Power -- "Though I can't off the top of my head think of any examples, I am interested in the question of whether a language could be too succinct. Are there languages that force you to write code in a way that is crabbed and incomprehensible?" (Comments: A long article on keeping things short. Here is a fun idea. I think that this article would have about a 50% chance of being accepted by Slashdot. Why not submit it and say that you saw a link to it from WebWord. Wink, wink. If enough people submit it, they'll think it is important and maybe they'll post it. What do you think? This "Slashdot Bomb" sounds like a Google Bomb, don't you think?)

I don't think a "submission campaign" will better the chances of success. It may guarantee failure if it is discovered.

More likely, multiple submissions would better the chances of success merely because multiple editors will see the submissions. What one yahoo considers droll another yahoo may find interesting.
