Is mom telling me the Internet will rot my brain?

A few years ago, during the U.S. media's Internet Porn Infatuation, there was a saying in my house. When you needed a scapegoat, you'd just proclaim, "The Internet did it!" Who spilled milk on the kitchen floor and didn't clean it up? That damn Internet again.

Reading through this article reminded me of "The Computer Delusion" by Todd Oppenheimer. He has some very strong concerns about the use of computers and other advanced technology in public schools.
