Dang, I said ten years, but I forgot my wedding invitations. I lobbied hard, but was not allowed to send notification via e-mail. When my fiancee asked, "What about people without Internet access?" I responded, "Tough luck for them." Oops.

Do postcards count? :) 5 years ago when travelling in Europe.

Daniel, I think postcards count.

I did, yesterday. However I must say it was done for marketing reasons - people get so much email that sending something, nicely bound, by post is increasingly having an impact in itself.

Do people take paper documents more seriously than PDFs?

"Do people take paper documents more seriously than PDFs?"

I think people take personalized paper documents very seriously. I think people take personalized email just slightly less seriously. Junk mail is junk mail. Spam is spam. End of story.

I assumed you meant personal correspondence, such as a hand-written letter to a friend, family member, or colleague. I haven't done one of those since I sent a card for wedding congratulations, and it has been a few years since a hand written letter. Wow!

Next poll: how recently have you received a hand-written card or letter?
