(Jack comments: Big Media will be inundating us with September 11 memorials in the next week. I've become jaded by the 'war on terror' and loss of freedom and was prepared to ignore the deluge of 9-11 reflections. This article brought my perspective back to that day. Please share your thoughts or other online remembrances that affected you .)

I was surprised at actually finding myself wanting to cry when I read that (I'm not the emotional sort). It shows the power of simple, human stories and observations.
