Passion clouds judgement. It isn't always a good thing. Also, ultimately, a job is a job no matter what the job is. You may love what you do, but loving it doesn't necessarily get the job done. What get's the job done is 1-9. I'll take a thoughtful, responsible designer over a passionate designer every time. Enthusiasm has its place, but it isn't #1. Beth, thanks for the explanation. I would probably put passion at #1 for me because Heather is always telling me that I need to be less analyitical and more 'human'.
