(Mac comments: This is what happens when usability ignores, and is ignored by programmers. When were you last involved in usability work with something that wasn't a web page? )

I can see developers advocating this line of reasoning. Of course, it will never be a reality. Human beings are too visually oriented.

I agree, Boysen. I just don't think a good user interface tailored for the audience is something that can be shortcut.
