Seems like they also axed one of their web sites that had notable "stability and usability problems."

A heartening trend, and one that should be encouraged.

Huh, knowing nothing about the eVilla, but hearing it described as a "web-browsing appliance," I can unequivocally decree that the problem was not stability or usability. It was price. $500? No. $100 for a web-browsing appliance. Gimme a break!

Ohhhhhhh, those are 2001 dollars. Accounting for inflation, that would make eVilla about $85 in today's dollars. Nevermind.
