WebWord Weblog Posting Posting Date: April 20, 2003 Observations on Italy (WebWord) -- "From 9-April-2003 through 16-April-2003 I was in Italy visiting my brother-in-law. He is currently a Master's student in the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of the Johns Hopkins University. We mainly spent time in Sicily (Siracusa and Taormina), Bologna and Rome. Here are some of my raw impressions of Italy. Enjoy!"

Regarding #15 on the list - Richard Feynman tells a funny story about how he started up a conversation with an Italian scientist he saw at his workplace from time to time Although his side of the conversation was in entirely made-up Italian words, the man spoke back to him in Italian every time! He later found out that the man had simply assumed he was speaking another dialect of Italian, so just answered good-naturedly even though he didn't understand a word. Too funny.
