Keeping an eye on the wandering eyes of web surfers (The Age) -- "Technology that traces the movements of a web surfer's eyes provides a unique view - where users are looking and, importantly, where they are not. Experts are now using eye-tracking technology as part of website and software usabilty testing at one Sydney-based facility, the Access Testing Centre." 3-4 years ago the New York Times had an article on the usability labs at Fidelity - - they were heavily into eye tracking back then.
