June Bandwidth Report -- "Subsidized by the Korean government, broadband is spreading at a rapid pace in Korea, with over 70% of wired users now on their high-speed network." (Comments: I wonder what benefits the Korean government expects to get from this investment? Any ideas?)

I'm not sure what the government's plans are, but I can tell you what people are using it for: online gaming.
