PowerPoint Is Evil -- (wired) "At a minimum, a presentation format should do no harm. Yet the PowerPoint style routinely disrupts, dominates, and trivializes content. Thus PowerPoint presentations too often resemble a school play -very loud, very slow, and very simple."

E. Tufte is right on the mark with this article. Some PowerPoint presentations are way too heavy on the graphics, especially using colorful frames or clip art. I can’t understand the logic of adding flying graphics to enhance the slide – it serves no purpose to the meat of the presentation. The moving, appearing and disappearing text/headlines technique needs to be outlaw too. "Information over presentation"
